Her cooking sits at the intersection of European classics, African tradition, Asian precision,
and South American vibrancy — held together by Tanzanian heritage.Before the kitchen claimed her fully, she spent seven years in fashion editorial.
She traded curation for farming, which was no detour.
The land taught her what the industry confirmed: creativity translates from pages to plates.She has trained across three continents. She has eaten in the rooms where taste is decided.
She came home to build something that did not yet exist.Tanzania is not the context.
It is the source.

Origin • Tanzania • Trained • Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) • Polished • Serena Hotel, DSMBefore the kitchen, there was the land. Three years in mining and land surveying. Raised among farmers and miners. She did not study the soil— she worked it. That is where her understanding of Tanzanian agriculture begins. That is where her cooking begins.
She came to the kitchen knowing what most chefs spend a lifetime trying to learn.The ground was always the beginning.
